Depending on the POS and how they’ve integrated into Stronghold, some of these columns may not have relevant data.
The transaction reports include the following columns:
A. Capture Date: the date the transaction status changed to captured (Read more about Transaction Statuses here.)
B. Status: read more about Transaction Statuses here
C. Total Amount: the total charged to the customer including all fees, but excluding tips and fees on tips. On the transaction details page this is simply labeled “Amount.”
D. Convenience Fee: the fee charged to the merchant’s customer
E. Gross Amount: this is the amount that Stronghold calculates the transaction fees from. It is calculated as the Total Amount (C) minus the Convenience Fee (D)
F. Fee: corresponds to the fees calculated on the Gross Amount (E) which are paid to Stronghold by the merchant
G. ID: the internal Stronghold ID for that charge
H. External ID: the order ID that corresponds with the POS or technology provider integrated into Stronghold.
I. Customer Name: the name of the merchant’s customer.
J. Tip Status: the status of the tip
K. Gross Tip: the total amount tipped by the merchant’s customer
L. Fee: the fee paid on the gross tip by the merchant to Stronghold
M. Net Tip: net amount of tip left after Stronghold’s fees are deducted. It is calculated as Gross Tip(K) - Fee (L) = Net Tip (M)
N. Beneficiary: the staff member or driver who collected the tip
O. Drawer ID: the drawer in your POS
P. Terminal ID: the terminal ID in your POS
