We’re expanding fast, and we’re seeking motivated team players who can grow with our company. We’re currently looking for a creative and analytical Head of Marketing to help define and amplify the Stronghold story.

Stronghold’s Head of Marketing will cultivate customer insights, shape products, lead our go-to-market strategies, and design impactful campaigns to drive product growth. This role is highly collaborative and will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Business Development team members. 

What You'll Do

  • Create, lead, and execute marketing strategies that resonate with our customer segments. 
  • Develop our brand identity, product positioning, and messaging based on market research, quantitative data, and qualitative insights from our team.
  • Lead our communication strategy 
  • Manage a multichannel editorial calendar with content to drive awareness and adoption of our products and services
  • Collaborate with a cross-function of teams to build the product roadmap and strategy using an understanding of our users and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to develop go-to-market strategies and drive product launches. 
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies that align with our brand while building our digital presence
  • Guide and optimize the performance of Stronghold’s owned marketing channels to grow our audience 
  • Build our editorial and social channels through paid, owned, and earned distribution strategies
  • Collaborate with the Finance and Product team members to optimize pricing strategies

Who you are

  • A storyteller who can adapt your communication style to engage all potential product users, from a transacting customer to a client CRO.
  • 7+ years overall experience in marketing and communications roles
  • At least 4-5 years of product lifecycle or go-to-market experience
  • Experience in editorial strategy, content marketing, or brand marketing
  • Experience in B2B marketing
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or related industries
  • Passionate about understanding financial technology. 
  • You’re comfortable with asking questions until you can easily explain something like the significance of our payment networks and clearly differentiate Stronghold.
  • A data-oriented communicator. You care about the numbers as well as the words. 
  • You draw on data insights throughout project planning and execution. 
  • You use data to make decisions and articulate meaning.
  • You thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment. 
  • Ambitious for yourself and for society. 
  • Someone who knows they’ll make a positive impact at Stronghold, and that together we’ll make the future of payments more inclusive.
  • Comfortable with Trello, Google Workspace, Hubspot Sales and Marketing, Canva, Hootsuite, and other marketing tools
