An upfront payment option meant that Sava could eliminate the payment step upon delivery so that delivery drivers could fulfil
orders more swiftly and safely, reducing the number of touch points between driver and customer.
As delivery orders began to skyrocket at the start of March 2020, Andrea was faced with several challenges in serving her customers safely and efficiently, while keeping her team members safe too. Sava was only able to accept cash and checks for payment, putting all parties at risk and leaving customers constrained by the amount of cash they had on hand.
Further, Andrea wanted Sava’s online e-commerce experience to be in line with its elevated brand: seamless and convenient. With the Sava website being managed in-house, it was important for the Sava team to maintain control of its customers and avoid having them go to a 3rd party to complete payment.
Andrea partnered with Stronghold to introduce an embedded prepayment option as part of the customer’s checkout process. The Sava team was able to integrate their technology stack directly into Stronghold’s APIs. The solution provides customers with the ability to pay through a bank account via ACH. Returning customers are treated to a one-click checkout option that is presented during the order completion step. Through working with Stronghold, Andrea has a trusted and reliable solution that its customers and drivers can depend on.
